Fitness Retreat with Coworking - 4 Weeks in Costa Rica - Feb 2027
With Harry Verma and Grant Thomas
February 2 - March 1, 2027
A four-week fitness retreat with coworking, by the beaches and jungles of Nosara, Costa Rica. 2 February to 1 March 2027. Trade winter for your strongest month.
Every morning you train with Grant Thomas, founder of Smoov and one of the most followed movement teachers on YouTube, with 150k+ subscribers. He’s been teaching for over ten years and has guided more than 1,000 people through his method, which mixes yoga, calisthenics, qigong and play with a deep knowledge of how bodies work. What comes out is real fitness: strength you can actually use, hips and shoulders that move again, and a body that feels like yours. Every session scales. Grant meets you where you are, then nudges.
Three chef-made meals a day are included, Sunday to Friday. Proper, hearty dishes made with produce from the regenerative farm you’re living on, high in protein and with an eye on macros. Not a rabbit-food meal in sight. There’s a guest kitchen too, for occasionally cooking your own stuff.
Home is Tierramor: 700 acres of wildlife, fruit trees and waterfalls, 20 minutes from Nosara. A saltwater pool looking out over the valley. An air-conditioned, well-equipped movement lab. A giant bamboo maloca with room to move big. A glass-walled cowork space with fast wifi and quiet corners for the odd nap. Casitas tucked into the trees, each with a stargazing net slung open to the night sky and its own outdoor shower. Less hotel, more village.
The rhythm: wake up in the tropics and start the day with movement, playing, lifting, sweating. Then breakfast together. The day is yours. Cowork and move things forward, dip in the pool, walk the rainforest, surf at Playa Guiones. At golden hour the movement lab opens for an optional hour of fixing the fundamentals of how your body moves. After dark, dinner together, then maybe singing, deep chats, and who knows what else. Saturdays are completely off to explore Costa Rica. Sundays are phones-free, with a longer two-hour session.
The four weeks build from the ground up. Week one lands the foundations. Week two builds strength from the floor up. Week three links it all together until training starts to feel like play. Week four, you build a practice you can take home.
Yes, your work can come too. Most people work four to five hours a day, no problem. Fast wifi throughout, and desks in most casitas.
There’s a minimum fitness level and a commitment to showing up: at least five of six morning sessions a week. It keeps the group healthy and lets classes go harder, pushing each other on, supporting each other. Beyond that floor, every session scales to you.
Twenty-two people, selected from across the world. Founders and creatives. Operators and artists. People with curiosity, warmth and an appetite for a challenge. Not everyone the same, but all aligned.
